Ms. Ali heads quantitative equity research efforts and has portfolio management responsibilities for Research Enhanced Strategies. Ms. Ali has been with the firm since 2005 as a Quantitative Researcher responsible for building, testing, and implementing the research-enhanced platform by quantifying the firm’s equity investment philosophy and research. She is also a key contributor to our firmwide Listed Equity Allocation calls and our cross-asset class forum, Investment Strategy Meetings.

Previously, she was a consultant for the Financial Models Company working on equity and fixed income attribution models. She completed graduate coursework as part of the Master of Science in computational finance at Carnegie Mellon University and has Master of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Ms. Ali holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from St. Francis College in India and an MBA from the University of Hyderabad. Ms. Ali has been a quant conference speaker. She is a CFA charterholder.

Shelly is responsible for business development, sales and marketing and servicing at ESG Screen17.Prior to joining ESG Screen17 as Chief Sales Officer, Shelly headed GreenTec Capital Partners’ Consulting unit, focused on scaling of sustainable African start-ups, together with international funding partners. Before that, Shelly worked in the global asset management/financial industry for over 25 years, most recently at Deutsche Bank/DWS in New York and Frankfurt with roles focused on account and sales management, program and process management (tech and non-tech), and organizational development and transformation. Shelly was also employed by Pequot Capital, Nomura, UBS and Northern Trust.Shelly currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Frankfurt International School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics-Mathematical Emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Suraj has an extensive career in finance with a primary focus on corporate and government debt markets. Today he is Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Fable Data, responsible for Fable’s growing base of international investor and corporate clients, ensuring Fable continues to offer unique propositions tailored to enable profitable client outcomes.

He is also responsible for sourcing all of the banking data that powers Fable’s products. Prior to Fable, Suraj started his career as a structured credit trader for KBC Financial Products before becoming a portfolio manager at Observatory Capital and then CQS.
