Emily Mansfield is the Regional Director for Europe at EIU, leading the coverage of European political and economic affairs, and managing a large team, with the goal of producing market-leading analysis and accurate forecasts.

Emily is a skilled editor and economist, and a sought-after public speaker. She has presented at think-tanks such as Chatham House and the Institute for International and European Affairs, at forums such as Wilton Park and the Club de Madrid, and at events organised by the European Parliament and Transparency International. Her specialist areas are France, Germany, the UK and Europe-wide issues, including EU-China and EU-US relations. She has also presented on the company’s flagship Democracy Index at international events since 2016.

Emily joined EIU in 2011, having previously worked in France and the US. She holds a graduate diploma in economics from Birkbeck, as well as bachelor and master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge.

Jag Sidhu is Head of Market Data at Investec Bank Plc, where he has led the firm’s market data strategy since 2017. With over 25 years of experience across financial services and technology, Jag has held roles spanning market data management, trading systems, and trade floor technology at Investec, Santander UK, and IBM.

He is deeply engaged in driving innovation, operational efficiency, and diversity within the market data industry, regularly contributing to panels and discussions across the sector. Jag also holds an Advanced Certificate in Strategy & Innovation and Technology from MIT Sloan Executive Education.

Rajat is a member of our Private Equity practice. He advises private equity investors and portfolio company leadership teams on the strategic and operational implications of AI and data, working at the intersection of investment decision-making and AI/data enabled value creation.

He has worked extensively across technology, professional services, consumer products, financial services, healthcare, and tech-enabled services businesses, assessing competitive differentiation, AI disruption risk, product evolution with an AI lens, and automation potential. Post-acquisition, Rajat partners with management teams to define and implement AI enabled value creation initiatives spanning operating model redesign, workflow automation, product enhancement, and commercial enablement.

Rajat plays a leadership role in developing our AI capabilities within the private equity practice, helping integrate AI considerations more systematically into investment processes and portfolio support. Beyond his case work, he is an active contributor to the firm's Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and a Bain mental health "first aider".

Rajat holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in technology (computer science). Outside of work, he is passionate about music and is part of a London-based choir. He also enjoys theatre, reading, playing tennis and cricket.

Dr Ana Armstrong is a fintech entrepreneur, AI researcher, and former senior portfolio manager with over €100bn in assets managed across global markets.

She is the Founder and CEO of AIM Cube, an AI-driven financial intelligence and education platform, a Senior Lecturer in FinTech at the University of Greenwich, and an Advisory Board Member at the AIDA Lab (Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics).

Ana’s work focuses on the application of artificial intelligence, agentic systems, and data-driven decision frameworks in investment management. She has collaborated with leading AI researchers, contributed to academic and industry publications, and frequently speaks on the transformation of financial research through AI and advanced analytics.

Angana Jacob is Global Head of Research Data at Bloomberg, responsible for providing multi-asset data and technology solutions to systematic traders, quantitative/quantamental strategies and fundamental research teams. Prior to joining, Angana was Head of Product at SigTech, a quant platform that was spun-out from hedge fund, Brevan Howard.

Angana has also spent more than a decade in index research and quantitative strategies at Deutsche Bank, S&P Dow Jones Indices and State Street. She has a degree in Computer Science from Madras University and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Ben Muskett is a seasoned Market Data Manager at Invesco EMEA, bringing over 27 years of experience, including the last nine focused on market data. He began his career as an IT Buyer before specialising in market data, where he has developed deep expertise across traditional data sets, particularly index and ratings data. Ben is responsible for managing over 1,500 workstations and terminals across multiple vendors, as well as overseeing the governance and optimisation of market data spend at Invesco. He is highly experienced in procurement, contract negotiation, and end-to-end sourcing strategy.

Clare‑Louise Cotter is a Vice President within State Street’s GlobalLINK business, specialising in FX execution solutions for institutional clients. She has worked with global financial organisations across the US, Europe, and Asia, including HSBC and UBS, supporting a wide range of regional and client‑specific trading requirements.

In her role at State Street, Clare‑Louise works closely with asset managers and asset owners across EMEA to support the evolution of FX trading workflows, with a focus on liquidity access, execution efficiency, and operating model optimisation. She is driven by understanding clients’ specific needs and identifying appropriate execution solutions within increasingly complex market structures.
